"Net Neutrality” defines our internet experience today. Online content comes to your computer at the same speed whether you’re reading the news, playing a game, listening to music or checking your Facebook account. Today, no website gets priority over another.
Unfortunately, the Federal Communications Commission is considering undoing this principle.
We’re fighting back. Get involved and sign this petition to demand that the FCC preserve “net neutrality”.
Under proposed rules before the FCC, content providers could pay a toll to prioritize their content on so-called “express lanes”.
That’s a bad idea. It means higher costs and slower speeds for some customers.
The ability to organize grassroots movements, to get informed or to get involved, whether locally or across the globe, is made possible by an open Internet.
